Arkansas is home to some of the most successful businesses in the world. We have proven that when given the opportunity, we are world-class innovators and job-creators. We see this in select parts of Northwest and Central Arkansas and we should celebrate it. At the same time, we must work to unleash growth in the rest of the state.
Our rural communities are filled with smart and innovative people who have the vision and the courage to step up and build a new business in their local economy. What they usually don’t have is the money to get started, access to health insurance while their family takes the risk, and the first few hours of basic business training that would give them a fighting shot as they act on their dreams. These are solvable problems – and if we can come together to address them, we will empower countless Arkansans to create new and better jobs across the state.

Alternative Headline: More than 7,000 fail to meet Arkansas internet requirement Nothing is “encouraging” about these numbers. Major policy implementation requires legitimate outreach. Our governor is failing hardworking Arkansans & our rural hospitals. https://t.co/XP7fit1IKa
It’s the 16th, so yet another government payday passes for Rep. Mickey Gates. Leaders across party lines have called for Gates’ resignation after he failed to file 15 years of state income taxes, but our governor remains silent. Arkansas – you deserve better leadership.
RT @IndivisibleLRCA: Need to take positive action to feel better after today's news: how about a new Governor for #Arkansas this November?…
A huge thank you to our Team Jared volunteers at the Hot Springs phone bank and Little Rock canvass today! https://t.co/eAVoBBdS8s
Honored to join the Rural Community Alliance’s panel on rural development and equitable public education today. When we prioritize issues like infrastructure, internet connectivity, & small business development with every community in mind– Arkansas can reach its full potential. https://t.co/MDs6s73QFD
